I have been in a creative funk lately. I just haven't gotten up the creative juices to flow so I can quilt. So the quilt that I previously stated that I am working on is just sitting there waiting to be done. Then I got the name of who we were to get a present for in our family gift exchange. We got my sister-in-law that is going off to college. So I decided that I wanted to make her a quilt. I have made a quilt out of this fabric before and had some left over. I just made it out of a different pattern. This one was so simple to cut and piece. It's a pattern from one of my fat quarter books. I decided to just tie this one. I think it turned out pretty. I will definitely have to make another one of these quilts. My sister-in-law loved it.

I need to stop taking pictures in Emma's room. The green on her walls takes away from the colors of the quilt. :)
Hey Cyndi--I love this new quilt you did for your sister-in-law. The simplest ones are sometimes the prettiest. I know what it's like to get in a rut with projects. Usually my incentive to keep moving or finish a project is to check out someone else's blog--like yours!
